Cookie Policy

Last updated: 18 August 2026

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are used on voidexperience.com (the “Site”), and what you can do about them.

It is short because the Site is simple. Everything stated here was verified by measurement on 18 August 2026, not assumed from a template: the Site was loaded with an empty cookie jar and every cookie and every outbound connection was recorded, page by page.

1. The short version

Browsing this Site sets no cookies at all.

The home page, the label pages, the release pages, the legal pages and the contact page store nothing on your device and contact no server other than voidexperience.com.

One cookie is set, and only if you put something in the shopping cart. It is a session cookie, it is strictly necessary to keep your cart from emptying itself between one page and the next, and under Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code (and Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive) it does not require your consent.

That is the whole of it. There is no consent banner on this Site because there is nothing to ask you to consent to.

2. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store, and that the browser sends back on later visits. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage, tracking pixels — do comparable things by different means, and this policy treats them the same way.

Cookies are described here by who sets them and why, because that is what determines your rights over them:

  • Strictly necessary — without them a function you asked for cannot work. No consent required.
  • Everything else — functional, statistical, marketing. Consent required before they are set, not after.

3. The cookie this Site sets

CookieSet byPurposeDurationConsent
wp_woocommerce_session_*voidexperience.comLinks your browser to your shopping cart on the server, so the cart survives from one page to the nextSession, then 48 hoursNot required — strictly necessary

It is set only when you add an item to the cart. If you never do, it is never set.

If you have an account and sign in, WordPress sets authentication cookies (wordpress_, wp-settings-) for the same reason: to keep you signed in. Those are also strictly necessary, and they exist only for signed-in users.

4. What this Site does not do

These are stated because their absence is a deliberate choice, and because you should be able to check it:

  • No analytics. No Google Analytics, no Matomo, no Jetpack Stats, no server-side visitor tracking.
  • No advertising or marketing cookies. No pixels, no remarketing tags, no conversion tracking.
  • No social widgets. The links to our social profiles are ordinary links: they contact nothing until you click them.
  • No embedded players. No YouTube, Spotify or SoundCloud embeds, which would contact those companies before you press play.
  • No external fonts. The typefaces are served from this Site. Google Fonts is not contacted.
  • No image CDN. Until 18 August 2026 images were served through Automattic’s network (i0.wp.com), which meant your IP address reached Automattic on every page load. That was switched off. Images now come from this Site’s own server.
  • No order attribution tracking. WooCommerce can record which source an order came from, using seven cookies. That feature is switched off.

Verified by measurement: on a normal page the browser makes eleven requests, all to voidexperience.com, and finishes with an empty cookie jar.

5. How to remove cookies anyway

Even though there is little to remove, your browser lets you inspect and delete anything stored by this Site:

  • Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies → See all site data and permissions
  • Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data
  • Safari — Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies

Deleting the cart session cookie empties your cart. Nothing else on the Site depends on cookies, so nothing else will break.

6. If this changes

If the Site later adds analytics, embedded players, advertising tools or any other technology that stores data on your device without being strictly necessary, then a consent banner will be added before that technology goes live, and this policy will be updated at the same time.

The date at the top of this page records the last revision. Changes that affect what is stored on your device will not be applied retroactively.

7. Related documents

  • Terms & Conditions — the terms of use of the Site and of sale
